Ronnie Fieg went all out when it came to the remodeling of Kith Brooklyn, from partnering once again with design firm Snarkitecture for an Air Jordan II cast installation to the launch of the first cereal bar with menu items curated by the likes of Andre Agassi and Virgil Abloh. You'd think that would be more than enough to make a successful year, but Fieg isn't done until he's left an imprint on all facets of the industry, including women's.
Fieg told WWD that he plans to open his first women's store in SoHo later this year in December. Kith has been carrying women's products for years, but it's a progressive move for the mainly-men's retailer to have a shop dedicated to the fairer sex. There's no telling what Fieg and his team will bring out for this store, but he did say that the location will be decked out with hanging cast-Air Jordan IIIs, continuing the Snarkitecture tradition from the first two Kith renovations.
If the Brooklyn relaunch is any indication, Kith fans are in for a real treat.
