German designer Patrick Mohr has made a bold statement with his sneaker collaborations with Reebok and K1x. When asked why U.S. rappers like his sneakers, Mohr said to Sportswear International, “It’s a strong product, it's limited and not made by Nike or Adidas – they are looking for something that not everyone has. And the appeal of “Made in Germany” design does play a role, too.”

With artists such as Chris Brown, A$AP Rocky, and ILoveMakonnen rocking his previous designs, there is no doubt that his work has a uniqueness and exclusivity that connects with them, but that shouldn’t discredit Nike or adidas, either.

Mohr followed up by saying, “I am a visionary. I am neither a shoe designer nor can I be labeled a 'Berlin designer.' I am Patrick."

Mohr also recently designed three pairs of Reebok Ventilators. In the past, he's had an installation at Berlin's Solebox. And it was crazy, to say the least.
