After taking some time off on the Kobe IX, it looks like the popular "Mambacurial" colorway is returning to the Nike Kobe X Elite Low.
Last seen on the Kobe 8, the "Mambacurial" is inspired by Bryant's other love — soccer — and Nike's long-running Mercurial boot franchise. While they're not quite as flashy as the original makeup, there shouldn't be much of a question as to where the inspiration for these came from.
Making use of a black-and-silver Flyknit upper, the "Mambacurial" Kobe X Elite Low features hits of vibrant pink throughout. A smaller Swoosh appears on the medial toe of each shoe which makes it clear that these are Mercurial-inspired. Take another look below courtesy of @pierceufang.
