While sneakerheads were focused on OVO Fest waiting for any news regarding Drake's OVO x Air Jordan VIIIs, another rapper took to the stage and delighted fans in his performance while sporting a pair of classic Jordans.
J.Cole braved the rain at OVO Fest and rocked the crowd in a pair of the Air Jordan 1 Retro "Chicago." Performing tracks from his 2014 Forest Hills Drive album, Cole's set and the remainder of the concert was cut short due to inclement weather which MTV reported as "strong winds, rain, and lightning." Cole would later take to Twitter and apologize to fans and show his appreciation to everyone that came out.
