Although it may not be first on your list of preferred retailers, Dick's Sporting Goods has been a low-key source of sneaker heat for years. Its online store and select locations regularly stock popular Air Jordan retros, and now it looks like Dick's will be stepping its game up even further with the introduction of what CEO Ed Stack calls "stores-within-a-store," according to Pittsburgh Business Times.
In other words, select Dick's locations will feature Jordan Brand-centric sections stocked with footwear and athletic apparel. Stack says that the brand will open 10 different Jordan stores this fall, with more on the way in 2016 and 2017 depending on sales performance.
Judging by past Jordan installations from companies like Foot Locker and Footaction, there probably won't be much exclusive product at the Dick's locations, but it's always nice to have another spot to cop your Js. Check back soon for more on the exact locations.
