Sneaker Con was back in NYC this weekend and the annual seller's retreat went off nearly without a hitch this Saturday, aside from a "fight" that broke out between two teens on the trade floor.
We roamed the cavernous conventional hall that is the Jacob Javits Center to document the day's activities and got a bird's eye view of today's reselling landscape and culture. As sneakers become ever more entwined with popular culture, events like this demand more than just a space for you to hawk your goods.
Bona fide "sneaker celebrities" such as Don C are now making regular guest appearances and bigger retailers like Jason Markk have an official presence. From the trading pit to Funk Flex's DJ booth, Here's Everything That Went Down at Sneaker Con NYC.
