For nearly a century, Italy has had a reputation for being the paramount of footwear manufacturing. From high-end designer shoes to sneakers from the likes of Diadora and Common Projects, the "Made in Italy" tag is more often than not a stamp of top quality.

Now, after a classy "Made in Italy" Handcrafted collection in January, Puma returns to southern Europe for a collaboration with clothing brand LC23 and Bologna, Italy boutique Back Door.

Shifting its attention to the popular R698 runner, the three parties have outfitted this silhouette in elegant materials including a rich white leather, oxford shirting fabric, and soft textiles. For an added touch of sophistication, the tongue's tri-branded label has been hand sewn.

These will be launching on July 24 from retailers like Hanon for approximately $170.
