Don't mess with the classics.

Oi Polloi has been a menswear mainstay in Manchester for a long time, and recently opened their second store in London's Soho. Never a crew to rest on their laurels, they're straight onto the next project, teaming up with Reebok—a company that shares a Northern homeland with Oi Polloi—to revive a classic silhouette, the NPC UK II.

The NPC originally debuted in 1985, when tennis was enjoying huge success, and Reebok was one of the biggest names in the sport, and the NPC UK II was a highlight sneaker. Its "abrasion resistant outsole" meant the shoes were perfect for players, while the premium leather used on the upper made sure they translated to a lifestyle setting. The Oi Polloi revivial includes some special details, such as an Oi Polloi lining, and detail on the tongue label.

The kicks are hitting shelves in a limited run of just 300, and will be available from both Oi Polloi stores and the webstore from July 7.
