The Nike Kevin Durant line has seen some pretty amazing sneakers over the year, but none of them have carried the hype of the "Nerf" KD IV. Flight Club New York's prices are sitting steady at around $3,000, and you don't even want to see what some eBay sellers are asking.
Luckily, you'll have another chance at locking down a pair of "Nerfs" soon. Instagram user @gc911 recently dropped these images of the Nike KD Trey 5 III, which serve as a more affordable take-down version of Duran't signature shoe.
These "Nerf" KD Trey 5 IIIs take on the eye-catching colorway with vivid purples, reds, and neon greens coming together to represent our generation's favorite childhood toy. Sure, they're not exactly the KD IVs, but this is probably as close as you're going to get without breaking the bank.
It's worth noting that Nike tried to revive the "Nerf" theme in 2012 with the KD V, but the silver-based colorway didn't quite carry the same magic of the original. Look out for more info on these KD Trey 5 IIIs soon.
