While the Air Max series may be the most recognizable Nike running sneakers, the Air Huarache is arguably the most innovative. Now, the 1991 design is set for a modernized update.

Deon Point, best known for his duties as buyer and general manager at Concepts, took to Instagram for some of his routine #samplechamp flexing this morning and gave us the best look yet at the revamped Huaraches. Dipped in a bevy of reflective 3M, the most notable changes from the original Air Huarache are the construction of the upper and materials used.

The new Huaraches still have their signature sock-like bootie fit and supportive heel strap, but the upper has been tweaked with new paneling and accents, as well as supportive Flywire cables. Down low, the model's traditional midsole has been redesigned and more than likely contains a new cushioning setup.

Along with Deon's preview shot, user @thesneakerilluminati shared a picture without flash along with a stock image. According to his posts, there are actually two new Huarache designs, the Huarache Utility and Huarache Ultra, but from what we can see so far, they look pretty similar. This image has also been floating around NikeTalk.

Looks like there are big things on the horizon for Huarache fans to say the least.
