When you're riding a train in New York City and hear the words "SHOWTIME!," you know you're in for an event. This declaration, usually yelled out by the city's youths,  is the precursor to a dance routine inside of a subway car, which generally includes scaling the handrails and an elaborate flipping and catching of hats.

In a recent article on our site, we documented the W.A.F.F.L.E. Crew and their dance moves. In the photos, however, we also noticed that some of the dancers wear fresh gear, too, including their sneakers.

Andrew Saunders (a.k.a. Goofy) and Joel Leitch (a.k.a. Aero Ace) wear adidas Yeezy Boosts and Nike Air Force 1 Mids, while Bryan Sibbilies (a.k.a. BJ) does floorwork in Air Jordan VIIs. Sonic hangs from the ceiling in Jeremy Scott x adidas.

Like many who live in NYC, their sneakers are just as much a part of their personality as everything else.
