Jordan Brand probably won't be collaborating with streetwear legends BAPE anytime soon, but one of the game's best customizers just whipped up a project that could easily pass as an official release.
Jacob Ferrato (best known as JBF Customs) has launched preorders for a "BAPE" Air Jordan 1. Ferrato plans to reconstruct each shoe with pieces of an authentic BAPE jacket and black denim. Only four preorder slots are available, which brings the total pairs produced worldwide to just five, the fifth being Ferrato's personal pair in the photos.
If you're interested, these will run you $1,500 and require the buyer to provide his own base Jordan 1. Head over to JBF's site now to lock down your pair.
