The next colorway of Nike's most hyped sneaker of the year—the Sock Dart—is dropping in "Black/Grape." Details are scarce, but according to Sneakers Addict a grape iteration is one of three black-based Sock Dart colorways set to drop in the near future.
While Hiroshi Fujiwara's string of fragment collabs put the Sock Dart on sneakerheads' maps, even non-collaborative NikeLab colorways are highly coveted and these will be no different.
Could these be a nod to MJ's classic "Grape" Air Jordan V? We wouldn't put it past Nike to revisit the storied colorway, but we'll update this post as more information becomes available.
UPDATE (5/14, 11:10 a.m.):
New images of what was originally thought to be a "Grape" Sock Dart reveal that these are actually part of Nike's rainbow-colored "Be True" release. While one side appears to be a grape colorway, the colors transition along the straps from left to right, showcasing the various hues of the rainbow.
