Sneakerhead/designer/manager to the stars John Geiger has been killing it lately with creative customs like the Nike Air Force 1 "Misplaced Checks," and now he's continuing to show just how far he can push the envelope with these unreal Hender Scheme interpretations.

Using the brand's Manual Industrial Products 08 and Manual Industrial Products 01 silhouettes as his base (better known as the New Balance 1300 and Nike Air Force 1 High to casual 'heads), Geiger has once again enlisted The Shoe Surgeon for an impressive update on these handmade homages. For those who don't know, Hender Scheme makes high-end duplications of well-known sneakers, but doesn't leave any branding on the product.

Instead of completely altering the originals, Geiger and The Shoe Surgeon kept it minimal by simply adding each brand's respective logos to the models. The branding is composed of the same vegetable-tanned leather that makes up the shoes themselves, resulting in a final product that looks perfectly natural.

Is it possible to make Hender Schemes more expensive? Because these folks just did.

UPDATE: Geiger and The Shoe Surgeon are back at it, and this time they've stripped away the Manual Industrial Products 01's leather and wood midsole in favor of icy white rubber Air Force 1 tooling. Calling them the "Real Henderscheme AF1s," it looks as if Geiger has found a new platform for his creativity.
