You have to be pretty daring to attempt to steal a semi-trailer full of sneakers, but doing it twice in the span of six months? That's just asking for trouble.

Believe it or not, WLKY is reporting that an Indiana man did just that. Thanks to newly filed court documents, more information has emerged regarding an Indiana man connected to a massive theft ring. The filings allege that William Robertson stole a trailer packed with almost 5,000 pairs of kicks from a Shoe Sensation warehouse last September.

Robertson proceeded to flip the stolen goods to local consignment shops, but apparently those 5,000 pairs weren't quite enough because he ended up doing the same thing again months later. In March, he went back to the same Shoe Sensation warehouse and hijacked another trailer filled with an undisclosed amount of sneakers. Talk about a brazen criminal.

The takeaway here? Don't be greedy, one trailer full of sneakers is more than enough for one person.
