The Dover Street Market x Air Jordan 1s were the biggest thing to hit the silhouette since December's fragment release, but it looks like they weren't the first Jordan 1 to make use of blue patent leather.
These Jordan 1 samples bear a strong resemblance to the DSMs, although this blue patent is entirely different and they lack the iridescent effect of the released version. It's also worth noting that these don't carry OG Nike Air branding, nor the premium "Remastered" features like screw-off lace tips, but it's rather striking just how similar the two are.
The user who shared these samples mentions that he's had them for a few years, so it's unlikely that they'll be hitting production lines anytime soon, but you can take another look below.
