Nike blurs the lines between high-fashion and sneaker culture with its upcoming collaboration with Japanese brand Sacai.
Following leaked images that surfaced just last week, Nike officially unveils Sacai's updated interpretation of the Air Max 90. Stripped of its laces and plastic eyestay, the signature Nike runner sports a slip-on aesthetic with an elasticized tongue. It's a vibe that complements the collaboration's overall theme, which emphasizes bold expression and functionality.
There are three colorways available for women—"Wolf Grey," "Obsidian," and "Volt"—and each one features two-tone color blocking that helps create the illusion of a wedge underneath the heel.
Watch for the entire collection to drop on March 19 through Nike Store and NikeLab shops.
