Just about everyone that claims to be a "sneakerhead" knows 'bout Bo.

The legendary Nike "Bo Knows" campaign featured two-sport star Bo Jackson and helped increase Nike's lead in the competitive sneaker landscape of the 90s while forever cementing Jackson's name in the annals of pop culture. While injuries derailed his ascent to superstardom, his contribution to Nike and the sneaker game has not been forgotten.

In a low-key release, Nike has dropped a new silhouette named after its former signature athlete called the Air Bo 1. Highlights of the shoe include a tonal tiger print on the toe cap - a nod to his alma mater Auburn Tigers - cement print on the mid-panel and midsole, partial "Ice Blue" outsoles, and a midfoot strap. Additionally, the lightning bolt that has been incorporated into the outsole's design bears a striking resemblance to Gatorade's logo, a brand he once took shots as part of an advertisement for Mountain Dew's ill-fated Sport drink, but currently, along with Nike, is one of the main supporters of his Bo Jackson Elite Training Facility.

Available now via Villa, you can start a new chapter in your Bo Jackson collections with the Air Bo 1.
