Last week, we premiered the trailer for the upcoming documentary, "Sneakerheadz." This week, we're letting you know about an exhibition that is debuting up this summer in Brooklyn.

In conjunction with the Bata Shoe Museum of Toronto, the American Federation of Arts is set to open "The Rise of Sneaker Culture" Exhibit beginning July 10 at the Brooklyn Museum. The show looks to highlight the game from its origins to models released over the last decade and how the culture has become a global phenomenon. The exhibition is said to feature roughly 150 pairs of kicks with models from all the major labels including designer label collaborations. In addition to the sneakers, fans will also get to see photographs, videos, design sketches, and a bevy of sneaker-related materials that will undoubtedly consume the attention of passionate sneakerheads.

If you happen to be in the city this summer, make it a point to visit the Brooklyn Museum. If not, maybe you can catch it a few weeks later as the show runs until October 4.
