Kevin Durant's next sneaker honors his late Aunt Pearl who passed away in 2000 from lung cancer. The tribute sneaker has become an annual theme in Durant's signature line, dating back to the KD IV in 2012.

While previous iterations of the color scheme have been highlighted by floral imagery, the KD 7 goes in another direction to keep Aunt Pearl's memory alive. On the 10th anniversary of her passing, Durant got a tattoo of an angel on his back to celebrate her life. Those angel wings and the heavenly white imagery take on the KD 7 "Aunt Pearl."

Equipped with a sold white base, the low-profile hoops shoe features pink Flywire accents, gold detailing, and a mid-foot strap with three-dimensional angel wings.

The sneaker is set to release on Thursday, February 19, on Nike Store (10 a.m. EST) and at select Nike Basketball retailers.
