Thirst for sneakers is alive and well, but you should already know that by now.

The Chinese-themed Nike Air Foamposite One "Tianjin" is scheduled to release overseas today, and a ton of customers have already gathered outside of an unknown retail store in China. Shared by Instagram user sneakergaga, who is known to be a well-connected sneakerhead overseas, the photos show a large group of people taking over the entire sidewalk and street. There doesn't appear to be a formal line in place or even security at the scene, which doesn't sound like such a good combination. While no one appears to be going H.A.M. in the photos, we can only imagine the problems that might just ensue once the store actually opens up.

Rumors have been swirling that the sneaker is exclusive to China, meaning the resell opportunity to sell to non-locals would be huge. Just based on these photos, if you're a stateside sneakerhead trying to get a pair, be prepared to pay up. It looks like these shoppers are sacrificing a lot of their time.
