Last night in West Hollywood, Big Sean brought Kanye West on stage to perform a set with him at the House of Blues Sunset Strip (and Justin Bieber, YG, Chris Brown and more). Kanye had to take the opportunity to get a few things off his chest, as he’s wont to do. As always, cameras were rolling, and we have a few videos of his quick chat.
He said to the adoring crowd, “Really quickly because this be my shit. I just want to talk to Portland right quick. Everyone at the Nike office right quick. Hov, hov, [points towards Jay Z] I ain’t gonna talk too long, but I gotta say something. Execs saying, 'Nike ain’t scared of Kanye West…' Should Nike be scared of Kanye West?!”
Cheers erupted in the affirmative.
As we await the release of Kanye's adidas collaboration after a year of hype (with some details here, here, here, and here), his previous partnership with Nike must be fresh on his mind.
