Classic sneakers in bold, monochromatic leather with a shearling-style lining is never a bad call.

California-based sneaker company Vans is set to drop another special four-piece collection commemorating the coming Chinese New Year, as they have done previously. This year's collection is titled 'Year of the Sheep', a nod to the shearling-style lining on all four sneakers. The collection is set to launch in countries across Asia-Pacific, and features two silhouettes; the classic Sk8-Hi and the staple Slip-On. Both come in leather, and stick to a strict monochromatic colour scheme of black and white, possibly in a nod to the black sheep/white sheep of the world.

Check out some more images of the collection below, and hit up that Asia connect you've got to get your hands on a pair, when they launch from January 10.
