The Nike Air Force 1 is an important part of sneaker culture. The oft-imitated silhouette has stood the test of time, positioning itself as a street-ready staple after three decades in the game.

Before the model earned the Uptown nickname in NYC and before Nelly had the masses stompin' in a pair, the Air Force 1 was already making its mark in China soon after Nike's entry into the Asian country, during the early '80s.

To commemorate the popularity of the Air Force 1 in China, Nike is set to release a reworked version of the hoops shoe, specifically for the Chinese market. The sneaker, which is said to feature an all-white leather upper, a red Swoosh, and "Nai Ke" branding, was presented by Hypebeast to 25 sneakerheads in China for the very first time.

"Feels like the old times," one sneakerhead said. Watch the video as everyone is left in amazement.
