Kim Jong-un is apparently just like your typical sneakerhead. But, you know, with way more connections. When the North Korean leader isn't busy reigning supreme over his country or consuming boatloads of cheese, he inspects sneakers.
According to Daily Mail, the dictator was recently spotted at a North Korean factory to "offer guidance" and inspect its selection of footwear. Per usual, he was accompanied with an entourage, as he performed inspections on a slew of styles, including sneakers, boots, and cleats.
The North Korean leader was hampered by a foot condition last year, which was reportedly a cyst on his ankle, causing him to be out of the public eye for quite sometime.
Is Kim Jong-un looking to upgrade his shoe game? He very well could be, but he's certainly looking at all the wrong sneakers.
