Images of the Air Jordan I Retro "Brooklyn" have been making their way around the Internet, possibly giving us a preview of what's to expect come NBA All-Star Weekend in New York.

Early word on the street is that we can expect these Is to drop sometime around All-Star weekend. Being that Brooklyn is the birthplace of Michael Jordan and also the home to this year's slam dunk contest, it would make sense for Jordan Brand to drop these during the weekend's festivities. With black and white being the predominate color scheme for the All-Star Game's uniforms, we wouldn't be surprised to see the same black and gold color scheme applied to many of the players' All-Star Game PEs. In recent years we've seen some pretty loud colorways during the All-Star Game, but with the game being played at Madison Square Garden and the uniforms taking on a more traditional look, perhaps brands will opt for more traditional looking sneakers like the Air Jordan I Retro "Brooklyn."
