After a weekend of joy and pain, the matchup for Super Bowl XLIX is finally set. As the Seahawks and Patriots prep their game plans for the big day, sneakerheads can start prepping on whether or not to cop this year's Super Bowl themed Nike Trainers.

In a much more subdued color story than last year's "Iridescent" Air Trainer 1s, this year's Air Trainer 3s feature a more earth tone offering in a "Vachetta Tan" nubuck along with "Hot Lava" color pops. We aren't quite sure what the significance, if any, the logo on the tongue and the pattern along the collar and inner lining has pertaining to the big game. It could be a play on the traditional patterns seen in the work of Native Americans who have a strong presence in Arizona, the site of this year's Super Bowl, and maybe representative of the journey of the Pats and 'Hawks making it to this final stage. Maybe. As of now though, all of that is pure speculation.

Looking at the sneakers strictly from a design standpoint, do you prefer this years Air Trainer 3s or was last year's Air Trainer 1s more your cup of tea? Those who are looking forward to copping can head over to Oneness beginning January 22.
