As much as brands love the Chinese New Year, Nike, especially, tips their hat to Black history Month, with a yearly collection we’ve already reported on.
Instagram user hidden_hype21 got his hands on a pair of the Jordan 1s already, and gave us a closer look at what’s going on with the shoe. In years past, Nike has drawn from colorful heritage, which is why this year the duotone designs are so surprising. So, how did they pull it off? hidden_hype21’s photos give us a little insight.
It seems that the graphics were created using different textures. Glossy print on matte materials give the depth required on the designs, while keeping the color palette close together.
