Kanye West's creative director might just have a sneaker collaboration of his own in the works.
Virgil Abloh, the man responsible for Pyrex Vision and Off-White, took over the Barneys Man Instagram account this afternoon and hinted at a possible project with high-end brand Golden Goose.
"I've been a longtime fan of #GoldenGoose. Take this as a sign of things to come from @virgilabloh and #GoldenGoose," the designer wrote as an IG caption along with a photo of Superstar Distressed sneakers from the Italian label.
If you happen to follow Abloh on the 'Gram, the news shouldn't exactly come as a shock as he's posted several sneaker selfies with the canvas sneakers.
A specific collaboration design has yet to be revealed, but Abloh did offer a timeline in the caption: "Next year's Christmas alert!"
While it looks like we'll have to wait a full year before the drop, we expect the creative genius will have something amazing up his Off-White sleeves.
