Believe it or not, December is here, which means Christmas is just around the corner. Over the past few weeks we've seen pictures of the Kobe 9 Elite "Christmas", and now we have an official release date.

Nike's clearly got plenty in store for the Kobe 9 series despite the fact that the Swoosh is planning on officially debuting the Kobe 10 during a press event tomorrow afternoon. Earlier today we saw a "Red October" colorway of the Kobe 9 EXT High, which means Nike will probably still roll out Kobe 9 models throughout 2015. The "Christmas" Kobe 9 Elite's feature a red Flyknit upper, with a camo inspired midsole, and a festive red and white outsole pattern. This is the first official look at any of Nike Basketball's Christmas Day sneakers, and with the return of Kevin Durant tonight, expect the LeBron 12 and KD 7 holiday colorways to surface in the very near future.

Pick up up the Kobe 9 Elite "Christmas" starting December 26, and let us know if you plan on scooping a pair of holding out til the Kobe 10's drop in February.
