It's almost that time of year to set new goals for the upcoming new year. In celebration of the fresh start that the new year provides us, Nike has released the "Shine Through" collection of soccer cleats.
While classic soccer boots are almost always black-based, Nike wanted to turn heads by using white, instead. After all, white is the second most used color on NikeiD. The "Shine Through" collection is inspired by the the energy, atmosphere, and visuals that accompany New Year’s Eve celebrations in Brazil. White, you see, is the traditional color worn by partiers on New Years Eve. The bright color splash contrast on the Nike Swoosh is meant to loosely mimic the site of New Year's fireworks in the night sky.
