After cementing his status as one of the best young playmakers in the NFL with his jaw-dropping one-handed catch, New York Giants rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr.'s celebrity status is growing by the minute. So much so, that the TMZ cameras tracked him down this weekend at the grand opening of OG Sole in New Jersey.
In talking with TMZ, Beckham, a noted sneaker enthusiast, revealed that he owns over 100 pairs of sneakers, possibly more. Beckham said that he couldn't remember the exact number, but does remember dropping $5,000 on a pair of Nike Air Yeezy 2 "Red Octobers," which according to the rookie sensation, is the most he's ever spent on a pair of sneakers. In addition to talking sneakers, Beckham talked about his soccer playing past, revealing that he was offered an opportunity to join the U.S. National soccer program as a youngster. If Beckham's career continues to play out at this pace, we'd say he made a wise decision to stick with football.
