Japan's Mita Sneakers will be ending the year with collaborations from ASICS and Onitsuka Tiger.
The theme of the project is titled "Dried Rose," which signifies ASICS and its Onitsuka Tiger label's longevity in the game, which goes all the way back to 1949. By drying flowers or roses, they're able to last for years on end.
Mita Sneakers uses the ASICS Gel Lyte V and Onitsuka Tiger X-Caliber silhouettes, and each runner is decked out in rosy hues, including red, burgundy, and magenta. The construction of the runner is highlighted by suede panels and the bold color scheme is set off by a solid white midsole atop a gum bottom.
Look for both sneakers to launch in-store tomorrow through Mita Sneakers. No information regarding a wider release has been established just yet.
