From mud to beer to zombies, we've seen some pretty creative ideas when it comes to the fun run craze. However, the Inane Inflatable 5K race may just take the cake as the zaniest and most fun novelty race yet.
The Insane Inflatable 5K is a traveling race series that pits entrants against a 3.1-mile obstacle course filled with the inflatable bouncy houses and slides normally reserved for birthday parties. Why would you spend your time rummaging through the mud and jumping over fire pits when you could be having a blast in a bouncy house instead? As far as the actual race, the event organizers aren't concerned with your finishing time. Instead, they just want to see you have an "insane" time. Based on the looks of it, that shouldn't be too hard.
