When it comes to secondary signature sneaker lines, the Nike KD Trey 5 II seems to get no love. Both the Zoom Solider and Venomenon (and perhaps the KB Mentality) series have their loyal followers, but you don't hear too much about Kevin Durant's other signature silhouette. Perhaps that will all change with the sneaker's latest colorway, though.

With its use of the popular hyper grape hue on the heel, the KD Trey 5 II is primed for a breakout with its "Magnet Grey" colorway. The grey upper is further highlighted by pops of hyper turquoise and cave purple, two colors that have been a smash hit on the KD7 this year. It also appears that hyper crimson appears on the shoe's Flywire cables, as well as Durant's No. 35 on the back of the heel. What do you think? Will this colorway lead to a breakout for the KD Trey 5 II or will the sneaker remain in obscurity?
