Quickstrike hosts Russ Bengtson and DJ Clark Kent recently made the trip to Beaverton to sit down with Nike's creative genius Tinker Hatifeld to talk the Swoosh's history.
Today, we are getting the second part of the interview in which Hatfield talks about designing sneakers for himself. In many ways, sneaker designers are just as much biographers as they are creators. When asked if he ever made an autobiographical shoe, Hatfield takes a minute or two to ponder the unprecedented question. You'll just have to watch to see what Hatfield had to say. Other topics broached upon are whether or not Nike would actually subsidize the sneaker, as well as what Hatfield's pitch to Mark Parker and Phil Knight would be regarding the "Air Tinker."
Make sure to check out part two of Quickstrike's interview with Tinker Hatfield and keep your eyes peeled for a third installment in the near future.
