adidas and Porsche Sport Designs have joined forces once again to come up with a futuristic looking running shoe that focuses on energy return for athletes. Dubbed the adidas Porsche Design Sport Bounce:S4s, the shoes actually look super clean, but come with a price tag would expect from a collaboration of this magnitude.

The major standout in technology here is the bouncy back-end system that transfers energy from a heel strike to the ball of your foot. adidas has developed shoes similar to this before, including the Springblade series and three previous versions of the Sport Bounce. For the S4s, adidas redesigned suspension system, utilized a carbon fiber under belly, and used a lightweight mesh upper which combine to make the shoes 20 percent lighter than the previous Bounce models.

As you would expect, a shoe that has carbon fiber and has the word Porsche printed on it will not come cheap. Looking to break the bank on your holiday shopping, the adidas Porsche Design Sport Bounce:S4s come with a $534.17 price tag. Check out the shoes below, and let us know if you would be willing to shell out that kind of dough.
