adidas is off to a hot start with the D Rose 5 after debuting three colorways at launch. Unfortunately for Rose himself, the former MVP is not seeing the success on the floor this season, as he was forced to sit out his last game due to an ankle injury. Fear not Bulls fans, the injury won't keep Rose out for too long, and adidas just dropped off three new colorways which D Rose is expected to lace up during the holiday season.
Following the Lake Michigan inspired colorway, adidas brings three new looks to the D Rose 5 Boost with some winter styling. The first colorway gets the “Icy Frost” nickname, which uses a similar scheme but gives nod to the frigid temperatures in Chicago. The next colorway is dubbed “Bad Dreams”, and features an all black mockup with a dark icy outsole. The final colorway goes back to Chicago's roots and appears to be another hometown option with a gray and red color scheme.
For the NBA, there's no bigger day during the regular season then Christmas. The Bulls are scheduled to play the Lakers on Christmas day this year, and we fully expect D Rose to bust out one of these newly released colorways. Check out the shoes in detail, and keep it locked for official release information on every holiday 2014 D Rose 5 Boost.
