At just 23-years-old, Los Angeles Angles center fielder Mike Trout has won his first MVP award. After finishing second in voting for the past two years, Trout broke through this year and was unanimously named the AL MVP, which is expected to be the first of many. To honor his amazing season, Nike dropped a special MVP edition of his Lunar Vapor Trout cleats, which he debuted this season.

The cleats come as part of a gold box set, which features the three colorways of the Vapor Trout he wore this season. Nike debuted the cleats back in June, making Trout the first player since Ken Griffey Jr. to have a signature cleat with Nike. The pack includes the debut red and gold colorway, the fishy Trout inspired All-Star colorway, and the special edition gold MVP cleat. Trout finished the season with a .287 batting average, 36 home runs, 111 runs batted in and a .377 on-base percentage, making him the runaway choice to take home the prestigious award.

The special edition California Golden Mike Trout MVP tee is set to drop November 12, and the Lunar Vapor Trout will be available on NikeiD beginning December 15.
