It's not often that Nike makes a basketball shoe directly catered to the needs of one particular position, but that's exactly what they did with the Zoom Run the One. The low-cut sneaker is designed for point guards who rely on quick acceleration and rapid direction changes such as James Harden, who's been wearing the Zoom Run the One this season. On opening night of the NBA, Harden debuted a special PE version of the shoe, and now, Nike just announced they will be dropping the shoe in limited quantities.

Coming in a red and volt scheme, Harden's PE's were a nod to his hometown Houston Rockets uniforms, while integrating Nike's performance volt color. The shoes feature Flywire cables for a lockdown feel, as well as a multidirectional outsole tread for optimal traction and court grip. The upper is made from a red mesh and synthetic upper with a black Swoosh mark and speckled print midsole. Of course the PE's pay homage to Harden and include personalized details such as the custom bearded insoles and Harden’s logo on the heel area.

Scoop up your pair of Harden's Zoom Run the One PE's when they drop November 15 at the Nike Store.
