Nike might be losing one of it's biggest pitchmen, as Swedish soccer star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is reportedly severing ties with the Swoosh after an eight-year partnership.
Ibrahimovic has long been one of Nike's most recognizable stars not just here in the US but across the globe. For Paris Saint-Germain's match against Marsielle on Sunday night, Ibrahimovic wore an all-black pair of cleats with the Nike swoosh barely visible, leading to many to believe this is foreshadowing for Zlatan's departure. Sources have said that Zlatan's next home may very well be Puma, where he'd fit in well with the brand's "rebel" image. Puma recently enlisted the help of Mario Balotelli and Usain Bolt for its "calling all troublemakers" campaign. Could Zlatan be one of those troublemakers?
