Calm down everybody. Contrary to what some people believe, "Fit-Shaming" is not a real thing. In fact, we are just going to nip this in the bud right now before it ever becomes a thing.

We are completely on board with the idea that there is no place for shaming of any kind in today's society. But with that being said, the idea that people should feel insecure about themselves for being in good health is simply ludicrous. Nobody considers you "gross" or is saying "ew" behind your back for being physically fit.

Any type of these so called digs or backhanded complements you receive regarding your impressive physique and balanced diet most likely stem from the jealously of other's trying to attain your physical status. So the next time you receive one of these so called back handed compliments, know that it is indeed more of a compliment than anything else. So yes, you should Kanye Shrug whenever you hear this malarky.

At the end of the day, the belief that something like "fit-shaming" exists does more harm than good to society, as the last thing we need is for people to abandon a healthy lifestyle in fear of being mocked. So we do agree that you should continue to lift heavy, because no one is judging you for it in the first place.
