Since she announced her intentions to enter the race this past summer, we've been keeping close tabs on Caroline Wozniacki's training for the New York City Marathon. However, we have to admit that even we were surprised to see her do so well.
With a finishing time of 3:26:33, Wozniacki actually ran well enough to qualify for the Boston Marathon. That's pretty impressive for someone who never ran more than 13.1 miles in their life. Making her feat even more outstanding is the fact that she played in a tennis tournament in Singapore just last week.
As far as footwear, Wozniacki opted for her trusty adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost. These are the shoes that we saw grace the feet of Wozniacki throughout her marathon training so it doesn't really come as a surprise that she reached for them on race day.
