French label A.P.C. and Nike are following up their Spring 2014 Air Max collaboration with this new take on the Nike Free. In what could be seen as a step away from looking back and a step towards acknowledging the current trend for lightweight running silhouettes, the choice of this sneaker—as opposed to the more established Air Max or Dunk we've seen the pair work on together in the past—is a significant moment in the relationship between A.P.C. and Nike.
The pack includes three colourways—grey, black and stone—and while the Nike Swoosh is present and accounted for, the A.P.C. logo is hidden away on the lining, keeping the collaboration typically understated, while instantly recognizeable.
