The year of the Adidas runner collabs is upon us. We've seen work from the likes of Packer Shoes, Ronnie Fieg, Solebox, and Highs and Lows, and the latest to get its own EQT Running Cushion '91 is the French music/style collective Club 75.

Michael Dupouy co-founder of La MJC and Club 75 took to Instagram to preview the mostly black collaborative sneakers - aside from its speckled midsole and branding on the tongue and lacelocks - and express his excitement over the sneaker he refers to as "one of the greatest Adidas sneaker ever made."

Dupouy's reasoning for this is "In the early '90s, the pair was a perfect answer to the needs of runners and also one of the first to feature the legendary Torsion system outsole." The Cushion's technical aspects, however, are only part of the reason of why he's excited to work on this project. As he said, "In the streets of Paris, it was also considered as one of the best sneakers from the adidas Equipment series."

Right now, the collab can be pre-ordered on Club 75's website, with an expected ship date of October 17. Retail is $175.
