Barbour x Adidas Originals Drop A Very British Capsule Collection

None

The English have a very involved relationship with the idea of the tracksuit. Like, even more than Run DMC. This might be why Barbour and Adidas teamed up on a small capsule collection that is sort of tracksuit-like. Made up of four pairings of outerwear and sneakers associated with three different themes—country, spectator, military—the collection pairs the appropriate Adidas footwear with their Barbour outerwear counterparts. The perfect place for these duos, to me, is the track. I just imagine watching a really long and rainy track meet in this gear and being totally okay with it. Or, maybe on the track itself, warming up for the next race. Or, with the military-focused gear and the dope murdered out jacket on, out in the woods of Northampton, hunting pheasants with a gang of my best pals. Honestly, this might be the most British-looking collection I've seen in a minute. It feels like I should be watching Roger Bannister try to break the four minute mile record 60 years ago on a terrible dirt track to the soundtrack of Chariots of Fire. Look for the line to hit select Barbour and Adidas stores on November 8th.
