September has finally hit, which unfortunately means summer has officially come to a close. One of the biggest hits from Nike this summer was the Kobe 9, as seemingly every weekend they debuted a new colorway. Although summer is over, Nike's isn't done with the Kobe 9 just yet, as they just unveiled the Premium Collection.
The Kobe 9 Premium Collection consists of three distinct colorways done up with top tier materials from the Swoosh that can outperform the basic model. The Premium Collection comes in the Gorge Green, Gym Red and Game Royal colorways, all which feature geometric fade pattern throughout the upper. The shoe's still feature an engineered mesh upper, but upgrades were made through the injected nylon heel clip, and Nike's Lunarlon midsoles which deliver a soft and responsive feel throughout your time on the court. With the basketball season approaching, players should consider the Kobe 9 Premium because it offers up the lightweight and breathable feel today's users are looking for, while still offering the support and responsiveness.
All three colorways of the Kobe 9 Premium Collection are scheduled to hit the Nike Store and other select retail locations on September 5.
