When it comes to upgrades, New Balance is really going all in. Between their special packs, and upcoming Horween injections, the brand is creating an upper echelon of sneakers for their discerning consumer.
Not to hit the nail too hard on the head, New Balance is releasing what it calls “The Gentleman’s Choice,” which is at least two pairs of NB1500s. The two Made in England shoes feature a variety of brown and tan leathers, with cream leather lining, on a model that is usually reserved for athletic inspiration. Perhaps they’re taking a nod from the “sport” in “sport jacket” and focusing more on the whiskey and cigars from after a good fox hunt.
Either way, if this idea reminds you of anything, these sorts of things have happened in the past.
