Miami is set to kick off its college football season tonight against Louisville and in doing so, will usher in a new era of uniform history for the Hurricanes.

The team will stray away from its traditional white helmets for tonight's contest against Louisville in favor of a new green helmet. Upon closer look, you will see that school has incorporated it's longtime ibis mascot into the helmet, giving the new lids a sleek, two-logo look. The new white jerseys will be paired with green pants, as the Hurricanes look to get off to another hot start after starting the season 7-0 last year.
