Jeremy Lin officially joined the adidas roster earlier this year, making the switch from rival footwear company Nike, who signed the NBA point guard when "Linsanity" was at its peak in 2012. With just about a month to go until the NBA season tips off and Lin dons purple and gold on his back, the newest member of the Los Angeles Lakers spoke with sneaker personality Jacques Slade on joining the Three Stripes.

"They made it clear from the start that they really believed in me. They made me a partner and made me part of the process. That they wanted to grow with me. They showed me that they want me to take part in the creative process," Lin said, during an in-store Foot Locker event in Culver City, Calif. "That's something I love doing. I just can't say enough good things about adidas. My first few years wasn't necessarily like that, so I'm happy to now be with adidas."

During his two years with Nike, Lin mostly took to the court in the Hyperdunk model and even received his own Air Force 1 that got resellers thirsty for Linsanity.

For the upcoming season, Lin also said he would be rocking the Crazy Quick 2 Low during the first half and the 2.5 iteration of the model in the latter part of the season. He also mentioned a future release of a limited-edition Jeremy Lin Crazy 8 in December.
